Ruby muttered, "I'm not sure. Something-doesn't feel right."

After a few moments of dead silence Rayne pointed over the horizon. "There's something alive over there," she said, almost in a whisper. She could see its heat through her contact lenses. Could it be more people? Friend or foe? The hairs on the back of her neck stood up.

 

[Rubysword]

She clipped her blaster to her belt, just in case, and activated her lightsaber slinger.(It can sling that light energy at different strengths, like enough to knock something out, enough to blind it, and/or enough to disintegrate it.) "Let's go see what it is." she said grimly, but with a trace of excitement in her voice.

 

[Thing2]

"I'm with you guys." Nessa answered determinedly, checking to see that her gun was fully loaded. (I'm going to add that she has a gun that shoots what are basically the nightlock pills of the Hunger Games )

The three of them began the trek over the sandy dunes.

Ruby made a few experimental swings.

Nessa fixed her gaze on the horizon and the tiny bits of movement she was starting to make out.

"What do you think they are?" Rayne ventured cautiously. "People? Or..." she faltered and blushed.

 

[Rubysword]

Ruby nodded. "We have no idea what could be out there. We need to have an idea."
