Maddox smiled, he was glad she thought of him as a Friend. "I am glad to call you friend as well, its been a while since I honestly felt like I could trust someone. " He replied, he knew she must still be hurting but he was glad she could find some good in it all.

Ara gave him a sad smile, she was happy to be here, sad to have lost Jade and worried for the future whatever it held. "Are we really going to be able to train here? I know I need to work on using my powers."

Arisala sighed and nodded her head, she had figured that was the case. "That is too bad, I had hopped she just got lost. In this case I hope its the government, she at least has a chance at being alive there." While she didn't wish either fate on anyone, but at least she had a chance with the government.

Luka looked down at her bewildered, surprised that she was that comfortable around him. Luka realized softly she was rather naive, and while he could abuse that, he pledged to protect her, protect her from all who wanted her harm. Or maybe she really liked him? He sighed, kissing her head softly, then falling asleep, her in his arms, dozing quietly.

Luka slowly got up and went outside, noticing the tree outside. It was now tall anough for her to grow it up to them. It would take a lot of her energy, but they could escape now with the empty halls. Luka pretended to look outside as if something had woken him up, then closed the door. He got back in bed, softly whispering “Jade.”
