(As long as you make it believable I am fine with that. Could say its a guard rotation or something, or he uses his powers to chill the cameras and make them malfunction. )

Ara gave him a sad smile, she was happy to be here, sad to have lost Jade and worried for the future whatever it held. "Are we really going to be able to train here? I know I need to work on using my powers."

"Well I have had trouble training because my powers are a bit more destructive then some of the others here. But I have seen all the others training. I know an earth mage that trains in the back yard all the time." He said with a shrug. He wanted to practice, he was constantly afraid he would burn someone again.

Maximilian nodded, sitting next to her to explain softly “There’s Little we can do now, I’m sorry Ari.”

Arisala sighed and leaned into him, he was her rock in more ways then he knew. "I know I just hoped.." She trailed off before looking up at him. "Its hard for a life mage to know that a life may have been lost. To not be able to fix this hurts."

Arisala sighed and leaned into him, he was her rock in more ways then he knew. "I know I just hoped.." She trailed off before looking up at him. "Its hard for a life mage to know that a life may have been lost. To not be able to fix this hurts."

Maximilian nodded, placing a Hand on her cheek, cupping it softly. He looked at her, thinking of words. “There is one thing we can do even though it’s extremely improbable and will take a lot of energy.”

Luka slowly got up and went outside, noticing the tree outside. It was now tall anough for her to grow it up to them. It would take a lot of her energy, but they could escape now with the empty halls. Luka pretended to look outside as if something had woken him up, then closed the door. He got back in bed, softly whispering “Jade.”

Jade stretched then blinked and looked at him "Luka?" She asked confused.

Luka responded softly, “I hope not, but the guard today is new. He spends way too much once either side of the building. I will freeze the cameras, all you have to do is grow the tree.” He acknowledged “I know it’ll be hard, but I’ll carry you when we escape if you become tired or faint. But we can escape now.” He sighed, letting all that sink in. He then gazed into her eyes, silently whispering, no sign of emotion yet it flooded from him, “I want to let you know that I love you.”
