Luka heard the door open and went to investigate with Jade, frowning as he saw a girl looking at him.

Maddox followed them towards the small cabin, he had never been out this far in the woods before. He didn't understand how someone could live out here for long, let alone want to. He stayed close to Ara in case she needed help with anything.

Luka heard the door open and went to investigate with Jade, frowning as he saw a girl looking at him.

Ara stopped at the sight of a guy there bit then she saw Jade and her eyes went wide "Jade!" She cried out and went to throw her arms around the girl. "I was so scared for you, you just vanished!"

"Ara?" Jade asked, actually taking a step back before the other girl had her wrapped in a hug. She blinked, uncertainty and confusion vying for supremacy before she extradited herself and stepped closer to Luka, reaching for his hand even as she stared at Ara still.

"Jade?" This time her name came out more as a question when Jade pulled away from her. She didn't understand, Jade wasn't the type to pull away like that, why wasn't she happy to see her? And just who was this guy? Ara's gaze went to Luka then back to Jade again.

Luka took her hand, grasping it assuringly. He gave it a soft squeeze, as a confirmation he was by her side and approved her actions towards Ara. He looked Ara dead in the eyes with an icy look voice of no compassion for her. He wanted her dead for lying to Jade. He muttered with scorn “Leave.”

Maximilian quickly understood what was happening, and that there would probably be a lot of emotions to deal with. He groaned inwardly, helping Ari was one thing but for others it was a bit harder for him. He tapped Maddox on the shoulder so he could tell him something in private outside.
