Nico nodded his head in Arisala's direction, grumbling a few words incoherently, acting as if he was still upset even after she eased the tension in the room. He grabbed a book and began reading the first few lines before putting it back down in distaste.

Lilith passed him, eyeing him with a raised eyebrow before moving on.

Maddox sauntered into the room and gave Lilith a big grin. He reached out quickly and slung his arm around her neck and dropped a kiss on her head before she could duck out of it. He gave her a wink and a grin before jumping over the back of the couch to sit next to Nico. "Hey Nico buddy ole' pal!" He said loudly with a big grin. He liked messing with some of the people around here. Who was he kidding he messed with everyone.

Elena sat outside in the dew covered grass. She liked the garden and yard better then the house. She could hear people inside getting a start to their day, she had been up for hours. She used her powers to gently tease the flowers on several budding plants to bloom and open up. She then turned to one of the tomato plants and she used her power to grow and ripen one of the tomatoes which she then picked and ate. She then dipped her head in grateful thanks to the plant and the earth for providing her.

She has her ears pierced but only wears one pair of earrings, tiny, deep blue sapphires shaped in the form of a dolphin, from her mother, that seem to strengthen her power a small bit. Usually in a sea-green t-shirt and shorts that come just above her knees, and a silver bracelet with small sea stars and sand dollars.
History: She grew up as an orphan, her parents are dead but both were mages, there was always something "different" about her, even though no one knew about her powers. A sense of weirdness that she's always had sort of kept her from being adopted. Realizing she'd never have a real family again, she ran away and found the place she'd always been looking for, where there were others like her.

Maddox sauntered into the room and gave Lilith a big grin. He reached out quickly and slung his arm around her neck and dropped a kiss on her head before she could duck out of it. He gave her a wink and a grin before jumping over the back of the couch to sit next to Nico. "Hey Nico buddy ole' pal!" He said loudly with a big grin. He liked messing with some of the people around here. Who was he kidding he messed with everyone.

Nico turned his head to Maddox "Oh hey, the jokester is here." He said, half paying attention. He crossed his arms and rolled his eyes, "What have you been up to exactly?".
Maddx was always so cheery, his friendliness made it hard for Nico to continue the act as the unpleasant kid, last thing he needed was for people to try and be his friend.

Arisala looked over to Maximilian as he spoke to her. A problem upstairs? She didn't feel anything wrong, nor had she seen anything earlier. But if he said their was a problem then there must be one. "Sure just let me clean up my dishes." She got up and cleaned off her plate in the sink and then turned to him with a smile. "Alright lead on." She replied.

Maximilian lead the way to his room, sitting on the bed, motioning for her to sit beside her

Nico turned his head to Maddox "Oh hey, the jokester is here." He said, half paying attention. He crossed his arms and rolled his eyes, "What have you been up to exactly?".
Maddx was always so cheery, his friendliness made it hard for Nico to continue the act as the unpleasant kid, last thing he needed was for people to try and be his friend.

Maddox just shrugged as though he had nothing better to do. "Oh you know setting my room on fire then dancing around in glee laughing maniacally." He replied with a grin and laugh. "Nah I have just been chilling out in my room upstairs waiting for someone to bug, I mean talk to. what have you been up to?" He asked conversationally as he looked to Nico with honest interest.

Maximilian lead the way to his room, sitting on the bed, motioning for her to sit beside her

Arisala followed him into his room curiously, she thought there would be some crisis, a girl locked in her room or something like that. She sat beside him cautiously suddenly unsure about where this was going. She attempted to crack a joke to lighten the seriousness of the room. "Let me guess the trouble you spoke of is your bed being too soft?" She sat down and made a show of testing the firmness of the bed. "Yup definitely too soft."

Arisala followed him into his room curiously, she thought there would be some crisis, a girl locked in her room or something like that. And I can't hide it anymore. I know we have to lead the others, but I wanted you to know Ari. I hope this doesn't break anything between us, I just wanted you to know."

Maximilian chuckled softly before placing a hand softly on her lap. He looked into her eyes when she looked up at him, saying softly "All these years, I've had feelings for you. And I can't hide it anymore. I know we have to lead the others, but I wanted you to know Ari. I hope this doesn't break anything between us, I just wanted you to know."

Arisala looked at him when he placed his hand in her lap. She had a feeling she knew what was coming next, and sure enough he confessed his feelings for her. She closed her eyes and sucked in a breath. It wasn't like it was a surprise, she had guessed as much, and she had a feeling he knew she cared for him as well. But for years now neither of them has made a move, always too busy averting some crisis or another. Not to mention having loved ones or family during this time was not easy, you always had to take the chance that you were going to lose someone important to you. She opened her eyes again and looked at him with a nod of her head to let him know she heard him. She lifted his hand and placed in to the side of her face and gave an affectionate rub of her cheek. "I think you know how I feel. For the longest time I felt we shouldn't act on this, it wasn't smart. But life is short, especially for mages these days. I do not want to have any regrets, so I think its time you and I stop trying to dance around this any more. Might as well embrace it." She said honestly, hoping he felt the same, she didn't care if the others found out. In this house they were bound too if they didn't think it already.
