Arisala heard the commotion downstairs, it had interrupted her meditation. Not that she minded that too much she was long past being a novice mage who needed the calm that meditation brought. She unfolded her legs and stood with a limber grace that she had always had. She moved to the door of her bedroom/study in her loose yoga pants and t-shirt opting to leave her feet bare. She moved through the house, checking on the wards as she went until she got to the kitchen and the back door. Ah the young ladies of the house had ordered food it seemed. She noticed Star sitting at the table eating, and Nico sitting on the couch in the next room over.
"Good morning you two, I see you are getting along well." She said with a hint of smile, she put out a soothing, calming aura to ease the tension in the room. She moved to the fridge to pull out some eggs to make breakfast. She wondered if Maximilian had remembered to eat last night? She opted to make enough for him as well just in case, she liked taking care of people.

Star looked up from her breakfast that she was almost done with and smiled at Arisala "Good morning Ms. Arisala, hope you don't mind that four of us ordered some food" she said with a respectful cheerfulness

Arisala looked over to Star from the stove where she was scrambling up some eggs. She gave her a warm smile and shook her head. "No Star it is fine, you paid for it with your own money so I do not mind. And you can call me just Arisala if you like, I was never much for formal titles and such." She said as she turned back to her eggs, there was nothing worse then overcooked eggs.

Maximilian got up and went to put on some new clothes. He heard the day had started downstairs so headed down, smiling at Ari as they saw each other.

Arisala smiled back to Maximilian as she saw him come down the stairs. "I made you some breakfast if you want?" She said to him with a warm smile, as she put some of the eggs on a plate that already had toast and some sliced fruit. She held it out to him with a smile hoping he didn't mind her fussing.

Star nods in understanding "Alright I wasn't really sure because it was the first time I ordered anything here" she they went back to finishing up her breakfast and she got up to clean up "So Ms-" she cut herself off to correct herself "So Arisala is there anything I can do to help out around here, I don't have much planned for today" she asked politely once she cleaned up the table she ate at

Arisala turned back to Star as she set the plate down for Maximilian in case he wanted it. "It is always ok to order food to the house as long as its from one of the provided and checked places, if you need menus look in the basket next to the fridge. As for help I do want to strengthen the wards on the house today it has been a while since I have done it. I know you are new to wards so it will be good practice for you." She replied honestly, there were few life mages in the world these days and every one of them needed to be as strong as possible. It was often hard for life mages in modern society where sometimes life was valued so little. She was happy to have Star here with them she looked at her kind of like an apprentice, someone to pass on all of her knowledge of the craft too.

Maximilian smiled warmly at her, hesitant but wanting to explain his feelings for her. He took the plate, setting it down and starting eating. He would talk to her when they were in private. He finished his plate then asked "Ari, there was a problem upstairs. Could you come check it out with me."

Star was pretty excited by the idea of helping Arisala with the wards "That sounds great! I'm totally up for that, I do need the practice" she stated cheerful as ever (looks like I have to bicycle to my friends house...jeez they like to dump things onto me)

Nico nodded his head in Arisala's direction, grumbling a few words incoherently, acting as if he was still upset even after she eased the tension in the room. He grabbed a book and began reading the first few lines before putting it back down in distaste.
