Luka looked at her in bewilderment. He asked himself out loud "Why are you the only person I care about?" He looked in her eyes, waiting for an answer, scanning her for an answer. He was slowly softening towards her.

Jade blinked and frowned a little at that question. How was she supposed to answer that? "I don't know. I seem to have that effect on people where they care about me after meeting me. Well, some people." She frowned, thinking of the others she had 'met' here. They hadn't been charmed by her that was for certain.

Luka listened to her, almost in wonder. Emotion s were raging within him. He scooted a bit closely, saying quietly "You don't understand. I've never cared about anyone. Had a friendship with anyone, or love anyone." He touched her hand a bit with his, saying softly "That changed with you?"

Jade looked to his hand then turned hers so they held hands. "The only relationship I can go by is with the Rivers, They are the only people besides you that I can remember, so I am far from an expert on it at all." She said softly

Luka nodded, letting go of her hand embarrassedly. Why did he have to be so awkward? "Im sorry" he stammered. He was courageous and brave when fighting the most evil and strong of heart, but with her he was helpless.

Jade flushed and dipped her head, shrugging "Nothing to be sorry for. I'm just glad you are alright" She said gently
