The humidity and temperatures from the broody hen are pretty close to the instructions for the Genesis 1588. To be honest, I am not too impressed with the dry incubation method. At least not for here.

Here In Woodland CA, we may have a sprinkle. It's a nice change from last weekend-Saturday was 105 and Sunday was 107. I did not lose any chickens, but others did around here.
Tomorrow is a big day for me too. I will be combing four flocks into two. I will be moving EO Marraduna Basque chickens out to a hutch with a run, combing my older two Cream Legbars with my younger three plus a lone hatched RIR. I will also be moving two Partridge Rock hens and a SG Dorking Cockerel in with the big girls. The Dorking is temperary. I will also be taking three Partridge Rock Cockerels to a BYC friends farm where we will be processing them along with four Delaware Cockerels.
