I have been hatching mine for the past few month and I'm still excited ever time.

After waiting since march when I hatched my shipped eggs.... today my very first cream legbar from my own hen hatched and it's a pullet! so far, so good. waiting on 5 more.

That's my goal too, to hatch from my own hens in the spring. I'm keeping cream legbar and a barred rock roo(s), and the legbar will serve double duty for an olive egger project (he volunteered). I have 33 CL eggs in the incubator currently from other sources. Just Struttin Farm batched in 8 or 9 each of Swedish Flower Hens and Basque with my Cream Legbars that I'm not sure what I'll do with yet. I don't have space for two more breeds but I couldn't just toss them. Funny how I always end up with too many chickens.

Just a note if you do no list of abbreviations....https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/byc-index-of-abbreviations .....list the cream legbar ...need to get a moderator on this...and picture in the breed page only has this one pic need to upload yours and click on that you have this breed....no reviews yet either....

FORGOT TO SAY NOWHERE DO I SEE A MENTION THAT CRESTED CREAM LEGBARS LAY A BLUE EGG IN THE BREED PAGE MAYBE NEED TO UPLOAD A PIC OF THE BLUE EGGS
