your chicks are so cute. I am hoping to get cream legbar eggs for my birthday. My hens wattle seems to have turned bright red and grown an inch overnight. did your hen do that and how long after did you get eggs? I was expect her to lay at the beginning of January but now I am hoping for dec. 24th my birthday.

Same thing for me. Seems like I blinked one day and her comb and wattles had grown about an inch. I don't remember exactly but I think it was about 2 weeks later that she laid her first. It's possible you could get one by your b-day!

Well I just heard that the buyer of the first egg auction had 4 eggs out of 6 begin development. Pretty good rate despite the fact they were shipped from MO to CA. Unfortunately, the buyer thinks that I need to replace the 2 eggs that did not develop. Even though I stated clearly in the auction that I have no control over shipping

She did admit the eggs were packed like fort knox and arrived safely. lol

Well I'm not exactly sure what your "huh?!?" is for. Please elaborate.

I was nicely trying to say "say what!?!" Or "Really someone asked you that" or "no way should you be expected to do that!"

I know they are expensive right now but shipping eggs is risky business.

Sorry just my opinion.
