Well I'm not exactly sure what your "huh?!?" is for. Please elaborate.

I was nicely trying to say "say what!?!" Or "Really someone asked you that" or "no way should you be expected to do that!"

I know they are expensive right now but shipping eggs is risky business.

Sorry just my opinion.

Oh Ok!

This is what i put on my auctions

"We cannot guarantee that these eggs will hatch due to circumstances out of our control, such as postal handling, X-ray, and incubator mishaps. All of these things can make perfectly fertile eggs not develop or hatch. When you buy hatching eggs it is like gambling. They may or may not hatch. If you don't want to take this chance buy chicks they are not as fragile as hatching eggs. Sorry I will knowlonger be sending replacement eggs or refunds"

I had to put this unfortunately

because I have has a few people say all was great and then come back 4 weeks later asking for free eggs

daisyjack, does this mean you won't be replacing my Swedish Flower Hen eggs for free?

I once replaced 2 dozen eggs twice for someone who finally tested their incubator and found they had been incubating at 107 degrees!

Just kidding. I candled today and of my 6 eggs, 5 appear to be veining, if not all 6. I am not sure about Mahonri's 6 eggs. He may not be a serial candler like me.

What combination of M-F did you order? I've been thinking about ordering some - or getting hatching eggs. If I order chicks, I've thought of getting three pairs - but then I don't really need that many males. :)

I think you should get 7.... 5 hens 2 roos. If both roos survive... then you have enough hens to divide them up.. If only one roo survives.. he can handle all 5 hens just fine.
