Here they are a bit more fluffed out. The ones still in the incubator are looking darker but they're wet still.. these three in the brooder are nice and fluffed now and I think are all boys

I have a pair. I waited until the price dropped but I see Green fire has even more beautiful pullets now than the pair I received.


The chicken on the left obviously is the cream leg bar. I am surprised at how small she is and my roo is quite large. They both have the top not thingy but neither are very pronounced. I will find a photo of him. He is quite Glorious.

I plan to breed them. Her eggs are more green than blue and are on the small side. She is broody right now and sitting on one of her own eggs. The other was broken accidently. I tried to dissuade her from being broody but she was bent on it so when my cousin said she wanted some chicks I gave her some eggs and Lottie the white rock also went broody and the two girls have been sitting ever since. Hatch day is 05/10.

Well I think the later hatchers are girls.. fingers crossed as they are much darker.. one more left to hatch the other two are duds but 6 chicks not bad.. I'll post pics of the newest hatchers once they fluff up..

I had 2-girls first -- and wet chicks thinking that the late ones were boys--- but I will never know.

Congratulations...Definitely 6 is NOT bad. Can't wait to see the pictures. Yay!!

It's a GIRL>.. The other girl still needs to fluff up some more.. one more to go fingers crossed it's a girl too then I'll have half and half.. She was moving too fast to get better pictures..
