I have raised a ton of hens and roos, and decided and chose two of madams roosters to breed with the hens that I have chosen and sold off all the other boys.

My word, that is one handsome rooster!!
I agree that rooster is really pretty! IMO also one of the very few cream I have seen...so FamilyPenDragon, that one -- and one that TheTropix has are cream. Fortunately there are some others that are part cream -- so perhaps in future generations we can get there....Aloha kākou,
Personally, I feel that everyone is going for rooster coloring that is too white. White is not cream. Cream is a yellowish white, not white white. While looking at the cream legbar club site, pictures section, Diane McDonaldʻs roo on slide #9 is what I consider cream. Donʻt you folks want some color on your birds? Even the saddle or wing triangle stuffs should have color. Like brown even.
just my 2 cents.

Agreed!! That rooster really looks to have the type and the tail angle and...the 'right stuff'. Nice yellow on beak and legs/feet too. Love the way the rooster contrasts light picture with Dark background...and yet the whites aren't blown out - which sometimes happens in photography. Fabulous bird.My word, that is one handsome rooster!!
you know I love that rooster the best when the sun hits him from the back, he doesn't have a name yet, because I just cant find the right one yet! Thank you again madamwlf! I love the roos I kept!
And the other being of typical type is also gorgeous! I had to share with you before I forget to! The eggs were amazing when they came, you rocked that shipping and made for a most excellent hatch! Thanks tons and tons!
Yup love it!It's silly, but he hits me as something like a "Lancelot"![]()

We have chickies!!! I had one of my bantam orp hens go broody.....again so I gave her some CLB eggs. If I remember correctly all these eggs came from one hen since the other was broody. They finally hatched today: 2 pullets and 3 roos. And the roos are very light in color. I also believe one of the hens is too. So excited!
