Here's a pic of what I have dubbed as "Goth" chickens.$5k chickens. Shoot me but I can see them strutting in graveyard.
I have to say again how awesome Jennifer is. There was only that one large CL pen of breeders of the new line being released in Dec. I took home 2 pullets of
line 3. Greenfire would like more visitors.
Tallahassee a great town with beaches nearby.Those of you facing a frozen winter, worth the trip.

Those black chickens only lay about 60 eggs a year as noted. One of those little buggers in there.The others are blue laced barnvelders and my CLs.

Totally agree! My sister went to Florida State and I went to U of Southern California. We had a lot of fun there during college football season - I sat the FSU section just once when she came to LA for a game (enjoyed being a real pain to her friends during the game) . Saw my first sink hole there. Wish I could visit GFF just to see their operation myself. Thanks for sharing.

Sry to be off topic everyone, but im really excited about my first pure bred ameraucana egg. Id use the dancing smiley if i wasnt on my phone. From the looks of the color id say its from one of my lavenders hens.

They all hatched together. I would not spend 5k on a chicken. Although I once said I wouldn't pay $5 for a chick.lol Greenfire says they sell a lot of those black chickens.

Its actually kinda green. :-( . Thats why i think the lavender laid it. The lavs still need work but im excited one started. The blacks should be really blue
