I think I read somewhere that CLB come into lay in their 2nd year!

Hoping that isn't accurate

Having said that, today my CLB is checking out the nest boxes - think she's having dummy runs

so I've got my fingers tightly crossed that I shall get an egg in the next week or two.

Woot! They are here and they sent extras! 13 SFH, 3 male CCL and 3 female CCL. I'm so excited. They came marked but the CCL are easy to spot. The markings on the girls are crisper and more distint then the similar colored SFH, and the boys are so light colored.
