I saw that The Fancy Chick (farm website) is working on a Crele orpington project. If I ever win the MegaMillions I'm going to have a chicken barn about 1200 feet long. Maybe I can buy one of those buildings covering a city block in Southern Cal where Howard Hughes used to build jetliners. That ought to handle it.

Well of the 7 eggs I placed under my little frizzle cochin, 4 have hatched - here is the gang, anyone want to say what they think sex wise?

Glass walled, climate controlled, with lighting and temperature/climate control. An aisle down the center....comfortable benches so you can observe them in style... yea -- go for it. (Have you ever seen any videos where Gail Damerow holds a chicken and says--- this is a (name the breed) - and stands by big glass picture windows, like the bird enclosures at the zoo.) Love it. I imagine you having that.

Haven't seen those video's but thinking now that I don't want to manage all that manure. Wish I could have snapped up the Spruce Goose when it was available and converted it to a chicken tractor. That Howard Hughes was ahead of his time.

Thats a nice looking roo and one of the hens looks like she has proper color in her hackle.
