Hey. My name's -Liv and welcome to my (only slightly) crazy life. I own a white Muscovy, named Baby who I love more than anything, a white drama queen Silkie named cotton, a light brahma roo and 11 Production hens! Join me as I try to convince my dad to add more poultry and a goat or two, and have all around fun!

Today I am finalizing getting another muscovy, hopefully a drake. My old boy, Bruno was chased off our property by a 'coon and unfortunately now lives in a neighbours pool with 2 geese. 15 Wheaton old english bantams are coming August 12 . Baby's bumblefoot is receding after 7 days of continuous treatment. It's such a pain. I'm planning on naming my new 'ling bubbles so it's unisex.

Muscovies are an interesting looking breed. How is Baby personality wise? (Is it a she or he?)

She's the sweetest thing! I've raised her since ten days so she's super imprinted on me. Scovys are something aren't they!

There are but I was looking for a pair of muscovys. I'll probably still get it but it's a long time. On a happier (sadder) note, we are downsizing our flock and rehoming our 7 older hens. But the happy part is I'll get the red coop that is super fancy for my old english.

Funny how the fancy (non working) breeds get the elegant homes typically

Exactly!

We bought this red one from a man who builds them, and after that my dad decided he never wanted to buy coops again. So my original plans had the old english shoved in the ugly chicken shack that was originally a aviary for a newborn baby crow that was thrown out of the nest due to lice. Now that's for the production free rangers and ducks. And I get the fancy one !!!
