Hey Birdies, are you still writing? You're really good! Please don't give up!

I have not been on for a while, because I have been sooooooo busy with school and have started showing my (quarter-leased

Chapter Seven

I woke up. The human was sitting next to me with a flat white object and a wooden thing that made dark marks.
"Let me go!" I whined at him, looking at him through a hole on the side of the box that I had made. A small one.
He looked at me.
"'pparently, you've been naughty," He muttered to himself.
I understood what he said. Hmm. I've spent more time with humans than I thought I did. But what about what he said about being "bad"?
I chirped nervously.
"Doesn't take much for a hen to abandon a chick, now, does it?"
Abandon? Is that what happened?
And... What about my dream? I wouldn't be with mom and dad anymore. Would I ever see them or my siblings again?
Panicking, I flapped around my wings, still mostly pin-feather, and looked for a way out of this enclosure, making noises the whole time.
The human, absorbed in making his marks on the white thing, ignored me.
What's up with him?
The walls rose up far beyond my head, revealing only white at the top of the room. The hole on the side was very small. I tried to chew on it, but I got tired very soon.
"Mommy!!" I cried, really scared now.
"Will you stop that?" The human said, clearly annoyed.
I didn't care. I wanted my mommy.
I continued to cry.
The human started making strange noises. I was startled by them. Was I the reason for his noises?
He stomped over and picked up my box. Scared, I hid in a corner.
Going down stairs, he went into the bird room. It was morning, and they were just waking up.
"Mommy!!" I cried nervously.
"Stop it," The human told me, "I'm bringing you where you want to go."
He was bringing me back to my mommy!
He put the box down. I heard a creaky cage open.
Before I knew it, I was in a nest box.
But not the one I knew. There were strange chicks here. Their dark eyes glared at me.
At the very first moment, I knew.
I was not welcome here.
