The LOOGGE---***UPDATED 5/20***

What exactly is the LUGGE pronounce Looo-geeeeeeeee. The LUGGE is a chicken tractor using a Doggloo dog house as the coop portion of the tractor. I was going to name it the Eggloo but figured a certain company may consider it copyright infringement.

75% of the LUGGE is being made from recycled material. All of the lumber, the dog house, the roofing tin and some wire is being use all came from Freecycle.

The LUGGE will be 87inches X 41inches. It will stand 48 inches Tall. The Doggloo coop portion of the LUGGE will be raised 2 ft off the ground to allow for placement of food and water. The front entrance will be reduced in size to reduce the wind blowing in. Only the first 24 inches of the Doggloo will be with in the wired portion of the tractor. The back of the Doggloo will open up to allow access to the kitty litter/nestbox and for cleaning.

The frame is being built of 2x4 and 2x6 reclaimed lumber. Fencing, 4x4 Goat Fencing with 1/2 inch hardware cloth on the inside.

All the frame pieces are cut and need to be primed and painted.

Sorry gang, late start on the day. Really was expecting it to rain. No pictures yet, not really much to look at yet. I got 90% of the frame put together today. It's suppose to be hot tomorrow so I'll have to work late or early. The chemo I'm on wipes me out in the sun. Plans for tomorrow=finish framing and a coat of primer. Can't put the wire up until at least Friday, need to get a new hacksaw blade

@Jenesis LOL I'm not sure if I have just the right loogie green paint. I'll have to dig through my mis-tints to see what I can come up with.
