I'm on a roll!! Roof has been added as well as a "Landing Board". These layers can jump the 18 inches up to the coop entrance. They don't need a ladder like chicks do. The board is made out of half an old shutter.

Have added wheels to be able to move it more easily. The frame is just barely up off the ground to help prevent critters from getting under.

Plan to add the "apron/skirt" and people door tomorrow

Thanks! I'm already thinking about modification to make to the next one. I'm trying to get a little charity started that will provide hen houses and a few chickens to familys trying to make it during difficult times. I think there's a nation wide shortage of popcorn after that thread.

I do want to commend you on the concept of making coops to help people out.

Would someone pass some water to wash that popcorn down?

Will have pics for ya'll tomorrow but half of my EE's are now in the LOOGGE. 3 hens and a roo. The Top Roo is not happy!! LOL he is in old bobwhite fight pen with 2 other girls. (that's one of my next projects to modify)

I do need to add more vent holes. The roof sits right on the hole that I cut. Feeder didn't fit under the Dogloo. It was wider than the backdoor. Oops!

Waterer fits fine but the chickens keep running into it and splashing all the water out.
