The Marans Hatch-O-Holics April Hatch Along!

Count me in!! I have some Solid Blue Marans, Buckeyes, Barnevelders, Speckled Sussex, BLRW, Delaware, Favorelles and Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas. I'm also throwing in a few of my own mongrel eggs.

okay... I have pippage!!! I will get photos in a little bit... (of that)

But my real reason for the thread is to show what is going into the bator.... I already have cree and Jesse bryant birds hatching.

I have Bayhorsebonne eggies that just arrived today doing their 24 hour rest... I would like to commend Donna for the most fabulous shipping wrap job under the sun. There was NO CHANCE of breakage.. Amazing...

I will be putting a couple of Cree Farms... (also AWESOME birds)... eggies in a separate bator... (they are too dirty to chance with my shipped eggs)

The rain here has made this state a mudhole... And it just keeps coming... So my eggies are more than just a little dirty!!! I have a hen that lays one like this in the mud nearly every day!!! (all just as dirty... ) I put down bedding and she scratches it away till she finds mud to lay an egg in.. go figure.

Wait, are those muddy ones Cree eggs or your own? Because I'd be very concerned of Cree Farms giving dirty eggs. I LOVE her stock, and yes mine came with occasional shavings and down stuck to a couple eggs, but nothing serious.

YaY! Kathy! That's AWESOME!!!!!!

I was able to sneak a few more eggs in yesterday...the count is now 29 BCM, Blue Copper and Splash eggs set for this hatch along.
