The Middle Tennessee Thread

Revision to above- Silkies are still in need of a home: 2 white roos (direct from Aimee Crego purchase for one and hatched from eggs bought from Robin of Summertown for the other). 4 hens (3 are my lines - when I had a bigger flock, 1 direct purchase from Vickie Harry). 2 chicks out of the above birds. 1 buff hen from our very own CityGirl and 1 chick from some bought eggs that is a really weird color. Some have been shown and 2 have gone all the way to grand champion junior bird at the shows we have attended. I know they will do really well in most junior shows and with some more work, could be competitive in the open shows. PM about pricing- I don't plan on letting them go super cheap but am willing to work a deal as long as they are going someplace great. Forgot to add we are NPIP
So sorry to hear this Lori....I know how much you loved your birds. We will always think of you when we look at our beautiful little buff silkie, Pippa.......check in every once in awhile and let us know how you are doing.

Thanks everyone- I think I have answered all the PMs. If I didn't get to yours...PM me again.

Cinny- I am not dying...we are just having to go through more immigration issues and if he has to leave the country for 5-6 mos or more, I can't afford to feed the animals as well as take care of the kids and myself. I will need to get a 2nd job probably just to keep us afloat.

I won't fall of the planet on BYC either. I like you guys and reading about what is going on in your lives and coops. I will probably get back into chickens at some point but not for a few years. Our attorney is expecting at least another year of court dates and paperwork. WOO HOO. *note that was with sarcasm :)*

AMY-- You know you want the group and I could be talked into some furniture. I need a king sized bed frame. Something artsy and maybe out of reclaimed barn wood or cedar???? Maybe a chest of drawers or something to match.
