I would be interested in some of your rocks.

Right now I'm out of bigger pullets but have the 2 blue barred roos..papa and son then I have no idea how many barred blue and black chicks..there is quite a few.None of the solid blue's have yellow shanks yet but do have the yellow feet..shank color on the blue barred isn't bad..mostly yellow

Do you have pics up on a different thread that I can see? How much are you wanting for chicks? When you say black...are you meaning black barred or solid black?

Hey, Holly! PM me your email address. I have a customer wanting AM eggs and I don't have anything right now. She might just be interested in your two hens.

Do you think maybe tou could meet me at that gas station like we did last time or do I need to come all the way? Maybe the first of the week or any day that is good for you.I'll go ahead and take the other blue pullett and that pair of ee bantams you want to give away. And anything else you need to clean house of!lol

Is any one on our forumn part of or the people of Poultry Hollow? I was on their website . and wondered how we missed them getting on here! They are out of cCarthage I think. Is that you Holly?

NO I'm not Poultry Hollow..gosh no Not a chance..don't get me started on PH it's owners or it's birds I would get kicked off BYC I'm sure..gosh that wasn't a glowing recommendation was it

I'm not alone in those thoughts.Just had someone ask me about them again...I'm not bad mouthing my competition that would imply we were in the same race and trust me we are not.

City Girl-I don't have any pure Am eggs right now they are all living together for the winter and my wheaten's are such slackers....
JC-why? I know we have a lot more than OBX does but leaving such a quiet laid back beautiful spot for headache and rat race..when I win the lottery I'll move back for you

emmalynn We don't have solid black right now..I'm trying to hatch a nice solid blue boy still. The blacks are all barred..my blue fella with my black barred ladies has been about 75% barred blue.My solid blues are blue and splash hens with our splash roo. There may be a splash roo in a pen-I'm leaning that way more and more with it that I won't need. Here are some of the adult pics My big roo is molting in the pic so he looks like a blue marshmallow but he will get his feathers back someday. The roos mostly bar on the saddle and hackle rest of the body is blue but the pullets bar like a normal barred rock.

Bella bean those cross hens are really pretty! Neat how the mottling came out. Remind me of the Californias that I got from McMurray once long ago!
Sorry Holly I didn't know they were a sore spot,I just could 't figure out why we hadn't heard of them if they were that local. But if you aren't fans then that's good enough for me! Well tomorrow I guess I need to shuffle birds around to make room for a standard size breed! It is neat that the roo came from such an impressive background breeder!
I'm excited about them.

That's him..he's only for sale if someone can use him..He's a great boy to be around I don't really care for the blue barred but he can hang out here as long as he wants either way his life isn't in too much jeopardy-just the wild one's wanting to eat him

The Millies are all doing great they took the winter off to get sassy.I traded one of the boys for a different mille roo from Camelot..we have about 20 of them roaming around here now so they had better start laying soon. The mottled are in with them so I hatched some real nice split chicks from the roos.I need to sell some of the mille chicks but they are too sweet to sell so little Millies will be everywhere

Jean has real nice birds..She hatched the ladies and the pullet is from her stock as well.
I love my leghorn cross hens...we just hatched more for layers.Like them better than my pure leghorns-they don't freeze as quick

PH isn't a sore spot..we just don't need them here on BYC,I feel bad for new chicken people that go there those that know chickens can handle him if your only wanting hatchery birds.
If we don't get much from this next storm I think it's supposed to warm up again soon and melt this ice..or if I can get out the back way. It's possible I could get out that way tomorrow before the storm.
