Winter isn't over yet.....

Hello everybody. I am sort of new (again), joined last year, but then went to work in Hermitage and so did not get to do any posting. Well I am working back at home again and am so much happier. Anyway wanted to say you all have some gorgeous birds and eggs. I have 3 RIR, 6 EE and an EE rooster. My RIR are about 1-1/2 years old and laying since last summer. My EE girls are 10 1/2 months old and finally have begun laying

. Anyway, just wanted to show off some of my purty new eggs we got in the last 2 weeks and say hi

.

Definite the EE, was hoping for blue, but green is nice

Definite RIR eggs

Not sure who laid these, probably RIR

And the weird ones, speckled

Cream Legbar? love the colors, pretty....

All is good here dog was on the back porch this morning and all the coops still standing and the baby silkies still pecking the cardboard.....I gotta go into work in Smyrna and from what I saw on the news and FB it hit pretty good there even a barn upside down. Hope everyone weathered the storm ok. Becky hope you made it through ok Carthage was getting hit pretty well too!!
Yes, CL = Cream Legbar, looks like this one will be a Crested Cream Legbar given her cut little tuft of feather like a lady's hat on top :)

@ ddhyland -- lovely eggs, personally I like the greens just as much as the blue, but it maybe b/c my 1st ever colored egg layer surprised me w/ a mint green egg on the spring equinox so I've been tickled by green eggs ever since.

Well no damage here except that the electric was out from 12:30-5am soooo, the eggs (mine) which were in the bator hopefully stayed ok, sooooo glad I had waited to set the shipped eggs!!! They are going in now...results in 21ish ;>

will do, thought for sure someone on here would know of one or 2 in this area, seems strange there isn't one or more?

Well their is going to be a poultry show in Dickson County on the 26th of April. I am guessing but I'll bet that a lot of birds are destine to change hands their. I know that many on this thread are planning to get together there.

Their is one in Ky but I don't know where.

Thank you, I love the greens also, especially since there is a variety, but definitely want some blue ones and dark brown to add.

Glad you all came through the storms okay. I am in Columbia, we had a lot of strong wind and rain, but thankfully just a few limbs down and no trees or any damage.

Yah! Looking like spring chicks already at your place. Thanks for sharing.

Anybody hear what it was that flew by Countrypunks window last night? Hope all is okay with him.

He thinks it was a trampoline..... not sure yet if it was his or just showed up LOL.

We had a neighbors tree fall over our drive at the farm. we didn't have any damage that I could tell.
