So my big customer from GA came today and kinda wiped me out of SBEL till I can get some hatched LOL. She took all the Olive Eggers I would let her take too. Just a few marans...... SOOOOOO now I can put all the other up on CL tonight.

I must have almost 20 Choc Eng Orpington pullets LOL.... don't need that many. I only have 3 Mauves and I am not selling those this year. I am also going to sell some of the Black Eng Orps pullets too. I am really just going to work on the choc and mauves I think.... the blacks are REALLY pretty though.

I have lots of Rhodebars too. Keep an eye out on CL. MUST SELL SOME BIRDS ASAP

No I have eggs.... she bought all my pullets from 4 weeks on up to 3 months old. I still have the pens set to make eggs and for me to hatch more chicks. The SBEL are the most popular eggs chicks and pullet I sell.

OK great! Really want some of those to hatch, I've been out of my amerucanas for awhile, having withdrawals....LOL

I ordered 50 silver sebrights they should be here by Friday. I also went into tractor supply today and got 3 red stars and 3 barred rock chicks. I noticed they had the little giant incubators on sale for 33 and also the egg turners for 33 I didn't cave in and buy but I really wanted too.

They were already out of good chicks at the feed store here. All they had were cornish crosses or rocks and Black Astralorps.... I want EE and maybe WL. The guy was building our fire pit and I told him they were out and he said "What are you looking at feed store chicks for? " ..... lol.

Anybody know where to get U of A blues? I had someone come out today and she wants me to hatch her some for her birthday.

Thanks Matlock that made a dent but I NEED TO SELL MORE EGGS!

No! Thank you!
I'm excited for this hatch. I got my eggs all prepped with a light brushing and the bator is holding temp good. My son wants to run this hatch so I'm gonna let him put the X's and O's on them and load them up in the morning. I normally don't put any water and keep humidity at 18-20% for the first 18 days, but I think this time I'm going to let them have a little more humidity because I seem to get several shrinkwraps on every hatch despite thinking my air cells look right.
I'll try to get over to the neighbor's Sunday and get some pics of that roo for you.

Quote: I did that too and was having shrink wrapped chicks too.... my fan died and I don't have that problem anymore. It is not the humidity the first 18 days.... that happens in lockdown. Can you turn your fan off? Just a thought..... it may still happen but with the humidity high and no fan it happens less.
