I feel like I have had a very busy and good week so far.  Cleaned 17 pens, got rid of 9 grown birds, got some new colors silkies, someone want to buy a roo.  NOW if I can just get the feeders and waterers fixed and the other new brooders working I will be on easy street for a few weeks.  I had to clear one of my brooders to put all the silkies in because I didn't want to take a chance on them getting trampled.  I do need the other brooder working.  It will just help so much to not have to hunt roos or worry about bantams or special breeds.......  can't wait. 

I know a person who has black silkies! How much would you pay for them?

my black isn't pure black out of a BBS pen....I would make sure you get a pure black for that project...

I do think for some things I would only use BLACK from BLACKS not BBS but for color leakage I don't think it would matter. Do they have blue paints? I really need to learn about silkies if I am going to grow them LOL.
