hi redridge, how's the knee today? you should start feeling better after day 3.:hugs

Doing well. Only used crutches for 48 hrs and never did need any meds. Kind of gimpy with poor range of motion and swelling but not slowing me down to bad as long as I'm on even ground.
Thanks for asking.

Stretch your KNEE. I had surgery years ago and hubby would bend my knee a little everyday after surgery. When I finally had therapy they were SHOCKED at how much movement I had. I still have some issues with my knee. It will swell when I squat for a little bit or get on my knees. I do try to keep a knee pad handy (like you have seen for gardening and I have used those foam ones kids use to swim with too) Sounds like you are doing well but make sure you do your therapy. With mine when they got in there my knee cap was on sideways (REALLY?) so they had to pull everything away from my knee to move it. That made for a little more recovery time than I expected.

GOOD LUCK!

Hi all. Posted this in chicks section but wanted to post here as well. I have four chicks that are between 5-6 weeks old. When I moved them out overt the weekend it was warm and perfect. So now that it's cold and wet I'm worrying about them. They seem fine, but should I bring them in? The have a small hutch sized coop they can use, but stay outside on the wet mud. Should I bring them back in the garage until things warm up/dry up? Are they fine?

This is the grow out pen they are in . That bit of grass that was there Sunday when the picture was taken is completely gone. The pen/coop is in the big girls run that we only use for vacations (which is why there is actually grass in there)

So I found where my guinea had been hiding her eggs. I don't have a incubator so if you are close by they are yours as long as I can have a couple keets.

there is one or two turkey eggs in there too.
