Did my neighboring call you?????

I've passed your place on the way to needle eye many times and wanted to stop. last year there was a flock of just heart stoppingly beautiful guineas
roaming in the front yard. what do you sell? i may not be able to get anything this year as I'm committed to SBEL and RIR for my new layer flock.

You should stop in next time you are out this way, I always enjoy meeting other chicken addicts! I sell a variety of baby chicks, I think I have around 16 different breeds now, as well as guinea keets, turkey poults, pheasant babies, peafowl, waterfowl, doves, and quail. My silly guineas have a bad habit of going out and standing in the middle of the road, usually on a very busy traffic day-every one going to buy produce from the Mennonites, I am surprised they were in the yard and not the road the day you came by!

Been slow on BYC for a few days..... could spring be the cause????

We did more moving and arranging today. We have cleared out my old NURSERY room. Cleaned the walls floors and moved in some of hubbies tables for reloading. We have a fridge in there and will soon move the Microwave in there and have a little kitchenette in there. The handyman came by and put some lights in my NEW shop so I can see what i am doing now. Not easy when you can't see close up as well as I used to AND no light....those chicks toes are TINY.

I am thinking of going back and getting a few more silkies. I only got 3 porcelain I would like a few more of those maybe a couple more blue partridge too. They are doing really well! These new brooders are working better than I expected. The chicks are so healthy and do much better when I move them to the bigger brooders. We may have to revisit the big brooders and redo them with wire floors.... maybe some legs too so we don't have to bend over as much.

I got my new side mount nipples today. I am going to try to use those in the new brooders. I will let you know how well they work.

Sold some eggs and some chickens today. I sold some silkies yesterday. LOVE weeks like this. We get some good work done at the farm and sell a few birds.... it is a GOOD THING!

It has been slow and for some reason I can't sell anything! :(

I can't sell mine either. Most of my sales lately have been eating eggs. I still have chicks left from the last hatch I need to sell. Unfortunately just BYM right now. But worst case I grow them out and sell laying hens maybe a few roos and process the extras if no room.

Eatin eggs is all I can sell too! I have had a few people contact me about the hatchin eggs and some of my laying hens but not much
