Eatin eggs is all I can sell too! I have had a few people contact me about the hatchin eggs and some of my laying hens but not much
yeah I've had a couple want laying hens but I'm not at the point to sell any of those yet. We just started last year so still building up breeding stock and laying stock. Only 7 laying right now and 1 of age rooster.

Also just wanted to share this....
These are both same age (5 days) and same breed hatched within. Day from each other at the most.

We finally finished the new hen house and yards. I found 2 LGD who are now 8 weeks old and were born with chickens. Most of the chicks are about 1 month old and we are all in the learning stage. Currently I have 10 Australorps, 4 OE, 13 EE, 6 Ameracaunas, 1 WL, 2 mini BR, 3 beautiful Welsummers, 5 Cuckoo Marans and 2 BO. Thanks to all on BYC who have helped with my very basic questions I will post pictures when some of the mud dries up.

I hope someone here can help, i have posted pictures yesterday of my Black English orpington (Penelope) on the ER thread and have not gotten any replies since posting the asked for photos. She is 3 years old, had bumble-foot when i got her( newbie I didn't check for it) treated her with long acting penicillin and soaked in Tricide-Neo. that was 2 years ago. I don't think the original bumble foot ever totally was gone--it's back in both feet and her eye was closed shut and swollen. Treatment: 1 cc of injected Lincomix 100,daily, two sprays of vetyrcin wound spray to her eye for 8 weeks-now using eye gell as well, until this week and her eye swelled shut again and she has diarrhea and a water-balloon-like oval shaped swelling on her adobmen-skin is the same color as normal, moved her to 2 ml shot and the eye it much better.. she's laying fine and moving in well with the rest of the flock. could this be a secondary infection, and if so what do i treat it with? I have picture post on ER thread that i can post here if someone could offer advise. Yes, i realize it's just as easy to end things... but she's laying and her comb and wattles are bright.

You should not feel that way! Do all you can and wait and see. Sometimes you can't make them live no matter what and if she is eating and laying she is comforable. :hugs

I have a problem with a chick and can't find any post that help. I have a chick that hatched on Sunday not doing well. It was fine last night. This morning I found it laying on its side gasping for air. Being stepped on by it's 18 other siblings. Since then I have been carrying it around in a dish towel. I hand fed it some vita water and sugar. I even got it to eat a few bits of yogurt. Each time I give it water it staggers around and peeps. But it still gasps for air. The crop is empty. It's eyes where closed when I found it this morning, but open now. I have them in a large bin chick feed and water jars. The floor is covered in shelf foam for a good foot grip. The only thing different was they where given live crickets and dried meal worms as of 2 days ago. They sure get to moving once they discover Crickets are tasty and fun to catch.

As of right now, it is sitting on my desk wrapped up peeping and trying to stand up. Any ideas of what I can do? I hate Darwin sometimes.
