We have a new addition to the crew here - not a chicken or any other fowl. You remember the picture of a little kid who shows up at the door holding a sorry looking kitten or puppy going "look what followed me home"? Well it is sort of like that, we have had problems for a couple days with what we assumed was a cow pulling up flowers, pooping in the drive, leaving hoof prints in the yard. Turns out it wasn't a cow after all, we now have a good looking pony stallion housed in a small corral. No idea where he came from. Fortunately he is easy to handle as we have to pen him away from our Donkey girl who has a 4 day old foal and our goats. Hopefully his owners come forward!!

I have several extra pullets and roosters! Most are with in 2-3 months of laying and a few are just 1 week old.

The pullets will be wonderful layers of large brown eggs and the roosters can make wonderful meat birds!

all are pure breed orpingtons so they can also be bred together and you could sell their chicks!

Pullets are $25 each rooster are $15 each week olds are $18 each...if you buy in bulk I can knock off a few dollars.

If you are interested please call us at (931) 808-1167

We can deliver to cookeville, Sparta or Mcminnville

Pictured are the parents of the birds you will be buying.

I have bred and hatched every bird I am selling right here on our farm!

Well ill let you know if and when I have eggs gosh knows he's been mating here all afternoon. I almost feel sorry for her. She's a pretty white and green. He on the other hand is an ugly sob. Lol I might go back and see if I can get another female off of her so I have 2 females for him to mate. To give Dora a break. The kids named the Dora and swipper.

Looking for opinions on this roo I am thinking of keeping for breeding forward on my BCM's

he seems to be the closest to the SOP as far as I can tell at this point...the others don't have as much copper color, have dark eyes or less feathering on the legs....
