Oh no, don't tell me that!
They were not cheap. I keep watching one that keeps laying in the boxes and she is making a lot of noise. Don't know if that is a good sign??

I have had reasonably good luck with my cream legbars. The first one I got started laying at about 5 months old and has been laying reliably since then (now 13 months old), although she has gone broody 3 times, but has been easy to break and has gone back to laying pretty quickly. My other legbars are from a different source and started laying at about 4 1/2 months old and have been very reliable so far. All of my legbars have been laying about 5 eggs per week.I had terrible luck with Cream Legbars too...hens started laying at about 6 months of age, were not very good layers, then quit laying at 11 months of age and never laid another egg again!
