I have no idea what could be going on with her. She may have stepped on something sharp (in which case I'd keep a close eye on her for bumble). Or, maybe she strained it jumping down from someplace high.

If anyone is interested, I have a very lovely (and large) Narangessett Tom I'm looking to rehome. He's not aggressive and would make a decent breeder or nice yard art (or dinner, which is what he will be if he doesn't find a home soon). One of our black Spanish has gone incognito, but let us know he was a male for sure a few days ago. Our hen is a BS, so he'll be our keeper. Not too mention the Narangessett is significantly bigger than the BS hen, so her BS boy is a better fit. I'd like to get $50 for him, but I'd trade him for some LF Ameraucanas or Marans. Will consider other breeds as well, as long as they are standard size. I'll add some pictures of him to this post later, I have to start getting ready for work soon (poo).

Haha. Of course! Thats the way it always seems to be. I think I'm pretty far from everyone on this thread, sometimes it's like I live in my own little worldI would LOVE to have him but alas you are too far!

Do any fly over the fence? That's the hight of my run fence and my hens started to fly over it at about 8 months old.
