Matlock- you might try calling Walden's Puddle. They are a local organization that does wildlife rescue. They should be able to help your little bird. It does look like the mockingbird babies that hatched out here last summer. Be careful adding wild babies to your flock. They can carry certain diseases that are transmittable to your flock. I'd hate for your act of kindness to have terrible consequences for your babies.

As long as we are giving roosters away, I have about 10 of them out there. Most are black and barred EEs. There are a couple that look like barred rocks (although they are mixed barred rock mama and barred EE daddy). I also have a couple of black ameraucanas. They are all free for the taking. If no one wants them I'm going to try to sell them for eating birds.

Oh a rooster give away I want in. I do have a few blue very nice cockerels one from Amie Creego and one from Bobbi Porto and I am sure there is a young black one here as well.
Just let me know who we are giving them to.

These are real nice roos straight from Meredith then there is one of mine that is half Ribbick and half Garner stock that is clean faced though..great EE roo though you know what he will do color wise. He's about 5 months now the Meredith one's are about 3 months.I could let one ee pullet go per roo...only have a few pullets so not going to last long.My arm could get twisted into selling a partridge Wyandotte pullet close to laying-like all partridge Wyandotte she has breed faults and she has 2 so I'm not going to use her for breeding but she's still real perty

I may have some bantam cochin hens left..I need to count how many are being held first to see.I also have 2 extra white leghorn pullets close to laying.Or I can fill a box of little chicks all will be EE with a variety of hen breeds and my blue wheaten Ameraucana roo Levi..can toss in a BLRW chick or so to make it more interesting

Roo give away here too! I have Maran roos-Blk Copper, Bl Copper, Splash Copper, Cuckoo, Golden Cuckoo, Exquecher Leghorn. I don't think I missed any. I am going to do a sort this weekend and put everybody on CL so get em if you want em.

I think I have 3 of those they are 3/4/11 babes so 4 months. They look pretty good to me but I don't want the copper on them (they were suppost to be solid) Good size, all but 1 (I think) has feathered shanks. You just have to come look and pick the best one! I hate to eat them but they have great body type I am only keeping the (only) pullet out of that hatch.
