Ok all, thought about this some more and will buy ANY standard size chick that's young enough to put with my lonely survivor. I'd LOVE an Easter Egger or Ameraucana but this little chick is miserable all alone so I'll take whatever if someone has any young ones available.

Tracyree, sorry to hear about your chicks. I am kind of surprised anyone is shipping live birds at this time of year. You're pretty much guaranteed to kill birds in boxes in this heat.

You might check with CityGirlintheCountry - - don't remember if she is hatching right now, but she is in your area.
