The Middle Tennessee Thread

Holly, I have a pretty blue rex (mini rex? full sized rex? idont know!) girl that would love to live with you! LOL. Find her a man and you can let your kids have a rex bunny operation. she is not friendly enough to be carried around (too scared) but can be petted and is SO PRETTY.

He thinks he is "the man". He crows and crows and crows and likes to try to chase the ladies around. The big boys do NOT approve lol.

Oh dear lord save me from all this gooey cuteness!!!!

Shelly, your angora bunnies are just gorgeous!!! They are just going to have to learn to be hugged and squeezed. As for your goats . . . why don't you try some dairy goats and we can make cheese together!

Nella, your Rex girl is lovely too! The Rex were bred to be super-soft, like thick velvet. She may be easier to pick up as she gets older. Now as for your red, white and blue roo . . . trade ya 3 blues and a black, heh heh! He is cool, though! I guess I like funky colors floating around here, too.

sheaviance1, come aboard! Two threads just means we can talk more. Also makes it easier to set up local meets.

OK, now I want to take a nice nap right in the middle of Shelly's angora bunnies. . .

We should have 'field trip days' ... where we all meet up at a different friends farm once a month to check out all the beautiful animals everyone has and do a lunch and learn from each other *smile*.

I'm always wondering about how to improve my hobby farming skills ... build better coops, cages, feeding arangements, ect.

NellaBean - very very very adorable bunnies you have there. oh no another addicting animals - LOL. And the chickens are just wonderful too. OH spring is in the air for sure.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Heavens, we are caught between the two of you!!!

Jenski, you pretty much nailed it on location, we are on Hwy70, just west of 109.

We had one of the ladies in the tub last evening, thinking she might have been egg bound.
False alarm though, she just wanted the free spa treatment!

Nella, Looking at your little man, reminded me of the little black roo we had a few years back, he was the funniest thing to watch, chasing the full size ladies around the run and never able to catch up! The DW and I would roll for hours just watching the goings on. Definitely have to get another little one this spring.

Anyway, time to go change the bantis house litter before it get dark.
