The Middle Tennessee Thread

Hi everyone. Hope you are all doing well.

Are any of you interested in organic chicken feed? No one carries it locally and I was hoping we could start a co-op or encourage a local store to carry it if we show enough interest.

Anyone interested?

Would it be cheaper?

That's the hope, but I honestly haven't looked into it, just trying to see if the interest is there. I know Countryside's shipping goes WAY down if a bulk order is ordered.

So ok I hit the tsc in Smyrna afterwork today. I am over by the feed and this guy is asking a worker something about chicken feed. He was saying they were spring chicks but not laying yet. Sooo the worker says (lol wait for it ) you need to find out what kind of chicken you have because some don't lay eggs( really?). I could not stand it. I explained the difference between the layer crumble and pellets and they should start laying anytime After 20 weeks. (The guy got the chicks from tsc). Why don't these people ask other than tell crazy stuff
