Who is planning on attending Crossroads from our little group? If so, where are you staying? Are you bringing anything to sell or hoping to bring anything home??

David & I are going up on Friday, coming home on Sunday.....We will either stay at the Host Hotel- Marriott or the La Quinta (which is much less expensive). We are bringing home some LF Ameraucana from two different breeders, looking for a few more LF Ameraucana and some wild colored Silkies or Showgirls...

Should we try to get together for lunch or dinner or just some time to visit one day?

You know I'm going

I'm going up Friday now..that keeps changing and I'm coming home late Saturday or Sunday. I may bring back a chicken if I can find what I'm looking for and the list is short and very picky

I am bringing back rabbits for sure...all picked out and paid for
I may not stay in Indy but in New Castle. If I stay in Indy it will be away from the fair grounds.I won't pay what the Marriott wants for 4 people-I'm taking the kids and leaving Paul home the other motels near by are full of bed bugs prostitutes and drug dealers...until the police raid them which is nearly nightly
Did you use the Crossroads code to get the Marriott cheaper..it's about $80 a night using it.

Hey everyone! Tracy here, from Pathways Herbs & Botanicals in Cheatham County. I just met Anne (CityGirlintheCountry) and purchased two gorgeous Black Ameraucanas from her. I have quickly fallen in love them. Have not been officially introduced to the established flock, but we're working on it.

I just wanted to introduce myself. BYC has been a wonderful place to learn about chickens, and my goodness! I had NO IDEA how many different breeds there are!! Anyway, I just started raising chickens this spring after two years of research and finally decided to commit, and oh boy do I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my babies!

Anne was telling me about a recent luncheon and I'd love to be able to attend the next one. Not sure how y'all let folks know, but if you have a mailing list, I'd love to added!

I look forward to getting to know other crazy chicken people in the area!

Many Blessings to all!

Welcome to the Middle TN thread. I've only been on BYC since June - and the Middle TN folks must be the friendliest! Chickens are rather addictive. I started out with 7 - and have already expanded to 30-something in just a few months.

Welcome to the madness from Lewisburg.

I know!!! Doesn't she have the best AMs. Love mine and am trying to talk the other half into cooperating with me.
