He sure is a pretty rooster though with all that deep blue and gold and such a gentle fella so protective of his girls. He's not for sale but like I said I can be tempted if its a good home
I don't think calling the weather man will help you out..going to need to go a bit higher up than that

Anne this is a new show I also hope they have this one in the spring. I wish you could come out. Enjoy the family time though!

Robin I feel you on doing everything alone my husband has been over sea the better part of our marriage. I see him maybe 3x's a year. This show is only half as far as the one this weekend and that is why I choose it. Even though fuel cost is down I have just spent so much going to shows these last 3 mths.

Gook luck Saturday it is supposed to be a beautiful day so enjoy the weather. They calling for rain again on Sunday. eeewww

You guys gonna do a meet up Saturday or what? I would be up for it if close enough.

Then I'm guessing you are still a Spring chicken. I'm past the six decades thing now and I can tell you from personal experience it does not get easier doing it all or at least trying to.

I'm not sure what we're going to do. I know that several are traveling from more than three hours away. There are some I haven't met yet and I'm looking forward to that. If we can sneak away maybe lunch some where without the crowds would be nice.

I'm not sure what our schedule will be on Sat.It's a double show and we have 3 entered

I'll be over with the much quieter critters.

My hubby and I are trying to set up some investment properties before he quits this job and comes home, but it is not like he could come home and get a job here anyway with the economy. I am very fortunate that I can work from home managing our rental business and the chickens.

It looks like today will be a nice day hope everyone enjoys it.

There is a tool called easy out, but I have never really had any luck. You can get it from the hardware store. Might be easy to cut it with a hacksaw if you can.

Saw on TV heat will help but not if it is stripped.

Depending on what its holding on to tight you can also drill it out. But if its something you need to resecure that might cause other problems and might need to cut new threads to put in a larger screw.

Roll on the floor laughing all you want but once you get in to the six oh part of your life things begin to change very rapidly. Think about how often you squat down and just stand back up. It was a normal part of all the things I do around the chickens just a couple of years ago. I forget that just standing back up without leverage can put me in some spots that are hard to work out of. And I swear to you, 50 pound bags of feed are far heavier than the label says. In my 40's and 50's I would load my truck with 70 pound of bales of Alfalfa and think nothing about unloading it when I got home. Well, now it gets loaded and parked in the garage and left there until the next day.

I spend my life behind on almost everything except food and water for the critters these days.
