Yea, :( I miss their fluffy butts. My last slw hen is doing alright. Shes with a glw roo for the time being until I can find glw and Slw.
My chicks from you are doing good.

Pretty buna holly.
No bun pics for me tonight. i just had to help fam replace a water heater and Im pooped.
I will let you know what they are tho, so you can try to picture I guess. Lol!
The doe is a young black Double mAne, and the buck is a single mane broken black.
I like the otters and pointed buns.

Oh.my.goodness. I just saw a bobcat skulking around about 100' from the chicken coop. We have a juvenile bald eagle hanging about also (2-3 years of age by the looks of it). Not to mention all of the hawks... I take the chickens out for an hour of closely supervised ranging as often as I can manage but the poor things just don't get to roam at all anymore and we have a hawk or two check us out every time. Come on spring rabbits...

Oh. My. Goodness, Holly! Those are the cutest babies EVER!!!

We definitely need more bunny pictures on here. What sweet little faces!

Debid- that's scary! Do you have a guard dog or anything? I have heard that the bobcats are bad this year. They are usually such elusive critters. It's scary that we are seeing them in daylight. You be careful outside!!

Matlock- a number of us on here have silkies and sell them off individually as started birds. I'll have buffs available a little later in the spring. I know others have black, blue, white, splash and partridge. Just figure out what colors your wife wants and we can surely get you covered. It'd make a great Valentine's Day gift.

First decide on the breeds you want to get into..they vary in price then if you want pet type or show quality. For instance Holland Lops range from around $25 to $300+ with pedigrees. You may find cheaper without pedigrees but breeding non pedigree rabbits and selling them cheap usually ends up with domesticated rabbits running wild when idiots turn them out free..kids get sick of them and they are gone.Big rabbits for meat mostly are much cheaper to buy but usually lack in a quality attitude so another decision...where are you going with them...kids pets..show/breeding or inviting them to dinner

I will get more cute bun pics on but I'm having a hard time getting my internet connection to stay working...stupid computers! Just had a litter of Dwarf Hotot's yesterday

Waiting impatiently for our new buck to get here from VA(he broke the budget) If anyone is looking for a nice pet bunny I have a Holland Lop doe that is as sweet as she can be and a horrible mom..letting her go real cheap to a good home.
Debid-we have bob cats here as well..one climbed over a door...the only place that didn't have electric over the top and get a real nice hen.I'm married to an avid trapper/hunter that lets them live in the back of the property but when they come up here it's instant death...HUSH on those Spring rabbits

Anybody got some barred rock hatching eggs? or pullets?

Country did you just hatch? You want this chick? It is FREE if you come get it!!!! SOON!!!! I don't have any other bitty babies for it to stay with. My others are 3-4 weeks and one little tiny chick would not stand a chance in that brooder... he needs company.
