well... I'm really not sure what I've got! LOL... There are chicks everywhere in there. As far as I can tell I have 24/32 hatched. I was about to declare no pips when I got home and move the fluffed out ones to the brooder, then I discovered I had 2 that had knocked out shell but were upside down and shrinkwrapped. Helped them both out ( no blood this time ) and they are doing good now. So now I think I'll get the brooder ready and see exactly what I got. I am happy with the eggs from my hen that hatched because it looks like most were sired by my barred cochin banty "spotty". So they will be black/white barred EE crossed with black/white barred cochin! They look exactly like the first chicks I hatched with the addition of feathered legs! And they are still the standard size!

The cochins are crazy busy in there! can't wait to get a brooder pic on here for ya'll.

I'm going to plan on taking cookies on the 19th to M'Boro around 2pm if anyone still wants some I have a few thousand boxes needing a home :eek:
Donna and everyone wanting to pick up at Rivergate I'm going to be there from 2-3 on the 16th before I go in to start selling and again around 5 on the 24th

We have 9 buns that have had or having buns this week...so much cuteness.Sold all the recent babies though that we are selling..rest are staying for showing.
okla I would be worried about such a small doe having that many kits..or are some peanuts? Still though it's hard on small rabbits to have big litters.We brought 2 home from the PA Convention Ethan's new birthday present..a HL buck from the top breeder in the country of them and a broken black mini rex doe..she's beautiful as well.Now...2 more heading to Dalton in a few weeks..then Muscle Shoals,before 2 shows in Ky to end March.

I do have an incubator on and running..MFC's and a few Partridge Wyandotte.It's not easy when I'm not going to be home at all to even check the bator.Sure wouldn't be a good time to have a malfunction.

They are all perfect and healthy. She is bigger then she should be. So i will breed her to my small buck. She is an extremely good momma.

I just found Sandhill's website last night! Amazing people. Have you purchased from them before?
 
I had several of the MFC's or sale recentl.Now I'm down to 3 very nice hens and 2 roos in that pen.I will be hatching some splits later this spring to get them even nicer :) Both of you had better be careful I may take you up on those offers.My schedule is so crazy this spring
Donna if I remeber to toss a few in my car when I see you I will bring you a couple.OK tossing them in may not be a good idea.
Country I see those lionheads a lot around here.People are using full size rabbits . We decided to sell most of ours now we have a new buck with the HL's I will be keeping more jrs from my head buck to show and need the cage space

HL? And yea, here up north not so much. Suprised the lady contacted me about them. But Usually id have to travel an hour or mlre to pick something up.
I just love the lionheads. I dont have plans showing yet, Going to wait awhile. Still a noobie.LOL.
 
HL...Holland Lop.We have 5 new Mini Rex this morning 2 are peanuts so probably won't make it but still 3 is a good litter.I'm debating the Mini Rex Nationals in Ohio it's a long drive with just 3 rabbits.
All the huge lions we have been around have come from the KY area...that is in our area since we work from M'Boro area to BG Ky :)
 
Someone PMd me wanting to buy blue cochins and blue wyandottes. I have neither. Does anyone here breed those? I will happily pass your name on.

Holly- where are we meeting on the 19th? Can you PM me a total please? And is it better for you to do cash or check? Thanks for the cookies!!! :)
