The Middle Tennessee Thread

Was any of our group the lucky one that got the 30-35 free mixed bantams the guy in Murffeesboro was giving away! Proably went to some broker/seller!wish I could get lucky on those deals.altho I am going in the morning to get a free chocolate lab.but wool rather have chickens!lol

I wasn't thinking about stealing the March 12? Meet up for Cookeville..We need that one for all of the Southern and Central middle area but adding another in Cookeville for those on that side and those of us that live where we could make both

We don't want to leave out all of the Eastern Side from all the fun any more than the Western side but the amount of area is way too big for any one real central location
I'm fine with M'Boro not Nashville/Davidson
March 12th
April 2nd.
April 23rd is the day before Easter not good
Okla-it wasn't me on the bantams...can't give me mixed bantams so that ad didn't even tease me-thankfully!! Good luck with the Lab I love mine but she has some very happy teeth

Murfreesboro is about 45 mins for me and works well I think to keep the others involved. I really could do both if you get one going on the west side Cookville is about the same for me. I am easy far as dates. Long as it's not the 5th or 19-20 of Feburary. GA shows on those dates.

Hi all!! I want to come to the next one. I am below Columbia but anything this side of Nashville over to Murfreesboro will work better for me. The end of March and first of April would mean I have Sebastopol goslings to trade. Of course I would always be up to buy someone else's babies. So many of you that posted on my other thread were right and pep talks from Tisha--- I am going to hatch the eggs from Mary!! Lord knows I need a local support group, enablers, co-addiction conspirators....friends. The one after this I would be willing to host. I know no one is all in for the heat of summer but May isn't usually that bad. Or could wait until after summer and look at September. Of course animals, eggs, chicks are all able to come to my place. We could barbque- sit under the trees- gab like there is no tomorrow. Just something to mull over.

Yay Lori! You will love Mary's Chicks! Glad you are back in the game sorry for your loss sweetie! I love the idea of doing this at someone's house. And anything on the BBQ works for me. I am an all beef hot dog freak! Living alone 90% I don't get out the ole BBQ much but will attend any function with one which I am invited to. Summer heat not a bad thing. We wouldn't be rushed or in anyone elses way and could freely mingle. I would offer up my place but I have a very small house with lots of land though, and no telling where we will be with the move in 3 mths. Sorry! Plus most think they are going into serial killer territory when coming to my place.

I live pretty far out. Which I love BTW!

Hmm... M'Boro is almost a 3 hour drive
hmm.png
I don't know if I'd want to drive that far by myself.... Columbia's even further! I like the C'Ville idea (only 1 and half hour)!

I am so sorry I missed out on the meet up I will try again on the next one. My Grandkids came in for a visit and I wasn't going anywhere

My place is big and I would be willing to offer it up but latter in the year or early fall! We are between Lebanon and Cookeville we are out off the main road a bit but very easy to get to if we need a place. March sounds good and an egg swap would be great!

a bit However,it's so peaceful out there-no traffic
Lets plan to do a Cookeville event for those on "this" side of the World in addition to the Southern event.I was with another BYC'r today that knows a few that would do Cookeville that M'Boro is way too far for..then those of us that live equally far from both can go to both if they want.
Oh today finally 99% of the ice is off my road...2 days above freezing but we now have pavement...YAY!!

Seeing I am North of Cartage (way out there) I would be willing to do both meet ups - a Murfreesboro and the Cookeville one. So I vote we don't have them both on the same day *smile*. And next time I'm taking more pictures!!!

Raven - I am really looking forward to meeting you seeing we are in the same county and maybe fairly close. I am out by Kempville / Defeated creek area.
