The Middle Tennessee Thread

Becky,
They have been very mild mannered with the family. A couple of incidences with neighbor children and small dogs that were more funny than anything. During the "MATING" season they tend to be a little more aggressive but in 4 years I have only been pinched once. We do have to have the conversation every year but only one lesson needs to be provided yearly.

I have a policy, that as my animal/pet, I give you free dental, medical, room and board. Treats and toys are provided. Board is more than you can eat and room includes shelter appropriate for all seasons. As the animal you must not bite, scratch, poop in my house or claw the furniture, walls, etc and provide entertainment. So officially the geese have not violated the policy.

Come on everyone, let's meet up in the parking lot and maybe order pizza. I'm open to other food suggestions but most of us will have birds in the car so usually places like Chili's frown on chickens attending. I tried the seeing eye chicken excuse, btw it didn't work.

OK since my last message DIDN'T post

I see why no one is commenting in the thread when people like BECKY pick on people for using a stupid smart phone to post! LOL

I am game, if I can handle another trip to Murfreesboro without killing the chicks

Donna I do not do anything different with the guineas they just take longer 26-28 days.
I hope we can talk alot of peeps into going and yes pizza would be the way to go sounds good.
Lori I need to be with you the next time you try the "seeing eye chicken"!
I must have bothered a Gander during mating season, but Geese are one of the only animals I am really afraid of.

Donna- Keets are just longer to get out of the shell just like Becky said. As hard as those eggs are I am surprised that make it out at all.
Becky- Pizza it is and let me tell you the story about the chicken hitching a ride in the truck to pop out at work.
Country Punk- I have silkie roos running out my ears and possibly some pullets.
Tin Tennessee- I don't have to have the smart phone helping me out to make typos. I can do that all by myself.
BTW Donna- I still don't see anyone really defending your honor :)
Anne- Where are you? Are you up for the pizza at the meet?
