Nope, Ducktape.
That is TOO easy. McGuiver always had GUM and disarm a nuclear bomb with GUM!

BTW I saw a poor car the other day and the head light was taped to the car with packing tape

DH has finished the diy 'bator
(meaning the wiring is all done, I still need to decide air holes, and a way to make the egg turner tray frame actually hold eggs).

Also, it is running too hot as is, so I need to play w/ the dimmer switch or try a lower watt bulb.

But I'm almost ready for the 11th (setting chicken eggs for NYDH) woohoo!

I built my own too so I might have some ideas for you. First can you mount some hardware cloth to the underside of your turner to hold eggs, that way you can put them in egg cartons to set eggs in. (don't use the cardboard ones they suck up too much water and mess with your humidity too much) Next what kind of thermostat are you using? IF it is a water heater thermostat you might want to mount the light closer to the thermostat so it will cut off sooner. I also found that putting the fan closer to the light so that it would blow on the thermostat might help. You also don't need a high watt light maybe 40 watts is all you need. You will have to play with that so you can get the thermostat to work right. Have you figured out where you are going to put your water and how you are going to refill it? Don't forget to calibrate your hygrometer too
