How old is your pair going to be?

I was only expecting eggs on the other SPECIAL BREED, (18 eggs) but it turned into a Laying Pair..... I can hatch all I want with them

BTW My son eat the first duck eggs. I tried it and it was pretty good. I could not tell much difference, but it was scrambled. And if duck eggs are bigger than your chicken eggs, you need some Super Blue Egg Layers and some WL. They lay bigger eggs... HUGE..... and maybe some Cuckoo Marans too. They all lay at least a Jumbo. I shipped some SBEL eggs to someone and she thought I sent her duck eggs LOL.

OH.... That might work great..... A $5 coop and $40 in fencing LOL. Shouldn't that be the other way around.

I had forgot about those. I need to plan on those....... Easy peasy too. Where is the graph paper........

They are going to be about 10 weeks... I can't wait! We will definitely have to do an egg swap.

I thought about getting some SBEL from you but I just don't like white chickens... Any other color and I would have some! Next time I will hopefully have some Pekin eggs to give you... They lay a jumbo plus. Their eggs don't actually fit in the egg cartons.

I made a big mistake by separating my roosters for 3 days. Now they don't get along. I need to re home my gorgeous Light Sussex roo Snowflake. We hatched him last year from eggs I got from Hot2pot. I am heartbroken. He is a large bird, but very docile. I can reach down and pick him up no problem. Anyone interested?

That is the same with the WL and Cuckoos... make the egg carton look tiny.
That makes total sense, we have been gettin huge eggs since the CM's started laying, my dad felt sorry for them... We cracked open 3 of them this morning and they were all double yolks.

Tell me more about these $5.00 boxes please!
All the CCL were roos?

I have a few roos for sale!
Golden Cuckoo Marans
700

2 Black Copper Marans
700

I have 1 Swedish Flower Hen roo but no pictures of him.
I have other roos but they are young and not BQ just roos

Quote: I use them for brooder boxes. Not sure what was in them they are about 4x4x2. They are on a pallet of wood (no gaps) and thin plywood sides and tops. Kinda like those plastic boxes you wanted to get off CL, but they are wood. I have a barn that is 90 feet long and on one side it is almost solid ROCK. I might build some small pens along that wall for pairs and trios. They would be close enough I could have electricity if needed.

1 was a mix with Marans the other 2 are roos. I have those eggs from CarolJ in the bator. I will keep you updated on the development. I have 2 trios of chicks being shipped to me soon I hope. I have a pair I hatched a few months ago. They are not far from laying I don't think. I will get you hooked up, I promise. I think I just want to keep a QUAD of them. I just can't keep building BIG pens for big birds and lots of them. I must SIMPLIFY.

Where do you get the stuff to make cages? Is it expensive?
