LOL in her room like she said I dont know the first thing about ostriches well i do have 5 acres will that be enough
Too funny, my DH just showed me pics online of ostrich races!! ppl actually ride the things, & also race w/ them pulling sm carts & chariots of all things odd. This yr. 25 chicken chicks , but watch out, if 4H goes international her swap chain might BE 25 ostriches next yr! yikes.

After taking a couple months (or more) off from laying, my Swedish Flower Hens and Cream Legbars have suddenly started laying again this week. Right now I have 9 eggs of each breed. Immediately before they started molting/stopped laying, the SFHs were fertile - but the CLBs were NOT. Apparently the CLB roo was putting his energy into molting, too. I have a list of people who want to buy the eggs, but I need to see if the eggs are fertile before I start selling them again. I've never had much luck seeing the infamous "bullseye" - even with a magnifying glass. And I don't want to get my incubator out of storage - don't want to deal with hatching chicks right now.

Does anyone want the eggs for free - with the understanding that there are no fertility guarantees - you'll be my fertility checker.

You'll have to come get them tomorrow afternoon, though. I've got a P.T. appt in Cool Springs tomorrow - right next to the mall - so I could meet somewhere around there a little before 1:00 - or around 2:30. I'm getting ready to go out of town for a few days for my mother's 90th birthday - and I just don't have any extra time right now.

If no one can get them tomorrow - I'll just keep collecting until I'm back in town next week.

Eggs are taken! Thanks!

ME! I will test again..... Let me work it out with hubby, we can eat lunch at cool spring... if I drive. He gets so frustrated trying to find something in unfamiliar territory.
