Have you looked at my breeding pens?  The only problems I have with them is I would like to put a bigger feeder in them and a fully automated water system.  I would also change the runs to be either sand or gravel.  Originally we thought we put gravel in them but it was as much dirt at gravel.  They were made out of pallets and salvaged material from CL.  I bought some used metal roofing (new would be easier without the holes)  I don't think I have over $300 in all 10 pens.  If I could get some of the crates from Johnson Electric I would get some for you too.  They are not that far from me and we have a trailer now so I can get quite a few at a time.  I can't get a hold of them  

I have but I am not putting-things-together inclined and can't figure it out LOL. We have stuff for the runs etc, just not the coops. I will look again.

I am trying! Today was really hard. Maybe now I have been heard and notes were taken my point is clearer about the this whole thing. I think we have a newer version of the plan that might move a little faster. The thought of this lasting another YEAR is killing me. PRAY for us please.

Will do. I know how hard you have worked on your new house and how much love and care you put into it, I would hate for you to have to sell it.....will pray this newer version is what you want!!

Okay DMRippy, you sold me an EE that is too smart for her own good! LoL. She decided to climb up into my kid's swinghouse tower, and then get on top... knowing I couldn't reach her to put her up in the coop. It started sprinkling and she finally came down, but I looked like an idiot trying to climb it til I gave up.

Here is the 10 month old Black Australorp roo I am looking to sell. Acquired him through a series of trades and have decided I do not need him (Nothing wrong just don't need 2 australorp roos plus my other 3 roosters). He is a VERY large bloke. That is inside a Large Pet carrier for large dogs. Feet are pinkish white. PM me if interested or know of anyone who is.
I know his exact age and past because he was in a batch of chicks a bunch of us in the fam got last year and he has been taken care of. I'd almost keep him but him and my barred rock have a distinct hatred for each other haha...

I don't think you have to worry about the USDA rules since they will not be inspecting for you to sell eggs. Not required in TN.

We have a new plan..... we are moving to my house in Ashland City. Then work can start on the house in Nashville. We will put the AC house on the market about a month later and then we can put the Nashville house up soon after. I am NOT working on the Nashville house.

We are going to store MOST of our stuff so we don't have to move it twice....or 3 times
