The Middle Tennessee Thread

I am about 20 minutes from Fall Creek Falls state park, between 111 and 127, on the mountain.
Will get some pics up soon. The pure Anconas are $8, and I have 2 mis-marked anconas or possible mallard x ancona that are $4. They could be pure, and just be from my blue girl that has too much color.

Here's the babies. There is also a potential SQ chocolate runner in there. I will sell one chocolate ancona but all the rest I can sell are B&W. I only have one choc and two blue adults for myself, so I need the colors to get more variety here next season.

The chocolate runners are the ones that stand tall like a wine bottle.
Here are some of my breeders, having heck of a time uploading today. Even ones that are already in my albums.

BTW- I am heading north one day next week if that helps at all. Can transport along I-40 and up I-75.

Got our first eggs today! Our best guess is that it was our little Welsummer and either the Light Brahma or the Blue Cochin. I found the in a nest scratched out of the pine bark in the run. Do I need to do anything to encourage them to use their boxes?

Goose and fig thank u sooo pretty,is that a sebastopol goose?I have just aquired me a total of 5 the last 3 2 girls n 1 boy...2 of those being 8 wks.old,my 1st pair were hatched out n the girl was hatched with a severe crooked back,n semi out of place neck, worried about her a few days ago,but

R u heading north toward ky? Do u know what day u will be coming north?

I have to go to Lexington- just running up and right back down. It depends on the weather- Sunday or Monday. If its not too bad out we will have to work Sunday.

I have a couple dozen Sebastopols now. I wouldn't trade the geese for anything- they are just the best birds I have ever had.
