Anyone ever put their eggs in egg cartons at lockdown to hatch in? im debating doing this and have read good and bad on it. I have them on a turner now but usually jus lay them in the bator during lockdown. Hope someone can fill me in on this a little.

I am using this method now. I don't know if its good or not, this is my first time lol

So i jus candle and see which one have air cells at the bottom? Wuld styrooam or paper egg cartons work? As long as i cut part of the bottom outta thm?

Paper chicks will eat styrofoam or if you could get plastis cartons that would be cleanable

DO NOT USE PAPER. It will suck up all your humidity. I have NEVER out of the 2-3000 chicks I have hatched this way ever had one eat the Styrofoam.

Wow, they are smaller than 2 of my dogs! Sounds cute as all get out. I have only ever been around the giant, scary eating type pigs (shudder). I had a great-uncle who had a farm and when I was around 8 or so, we had a family reunion out there. All of us kids were looking at all the animals and asked if we could go look at the piglets. He said sure, but don't go in the pen cause the sow will eat you (she was huge, big as a pony). I have had a slight fear of pigs since then.

You would have been totally terrified of my friend's pigs then. Male and female 9 year old Tamworth pigs. Stood 5 feet at the shoulder and were 9 to 10 feet long. You could have armored them and rode them into battle. They had to have been 1500+lbs. Apiece.

Yep, those are the type my great-uncle had - the stuff of my nightmares.
