Hello everyone I am about to start chicken hatching and was wondering what all these need to be?

Temp: 99.5 for forced air I think 102 for still air but I would not do still air.
Humidity: Under 35% for the first 18 day then bump it up to about 50-60%
Days: 21
Till hatcher after day 18
Till hatched depending on your actual temps anywhere from 18-21 days. Mine tend to start pipping on day 19, some hatch on day 20 but Most wait till day 21.

And if you have good pics for me that would be sooooo awesome! Pics of WHAT?

Hatcher on the left incubator on the right

There is more info in my siggy if you want to look.

We brood outside...
700

And then at 6 weeks the chicks go from brooder to breeding pens which we convert to grow out pens...
700

We only hatch Jan thru March so this works out well to make double use of the breeding pens

My first hatch is over. I started out with 48 EE and OE eggs. My first chick came out on the 19th day. Then the others came out on the 20th-22nd day. I had 4 zip or put holes in the shells but not make it out on day 20. Day 22 The last 4 where doing the same peeping but couldn't get out of the shell. So I helped them out. I had 20 hatch in all. I'm not sure if the last 2 will make it they look very small against their hatch mates. But, in all I did better than I though I would. I did learn a few things on the way. Next time I will set the humidity controls lower and not add water in both trays as suggested by the incubator instructions. Then on lock down add water to all the trays! I couldn't get the humidity over 62% or under 46% It wanted to hold around 50% from day The temp held at 37.06c - 37.08c or 99.68f - 100.04f I'm collecting eggs again for round 2.

You do good work! I think we figured out the feeders yesterday. We are going to make them next week and I will let you know after that what size doors we need. We also figured out a water too I think. Still have some work on those. We are going to use the litter buckets like we do for the big birds only use smaller elbows. We will cut the litter buckets down to fit on each tray. Should be ok....
