You have to break one or two and look for the "bull's eye" white spot with clear edges. If you've got that, it's a sign that the eggs have been fertilized. There is no way to tell from the outside.

Thank you all for the kind words & prayers. He was not KIA, but at home on Us soil. My family is holding firm in our faith in GOD. Through his grace we will get through this.

Still heart breaking. So Sorry! Hold TIGHT to GOD!!!! Take care of your wife.... and yourself. Call me if you need anything. I know you have a strong church family too and don't push them away. Let them love you.

@DMRippy these are the other 2 guinea keets. They fell asleep with DH while i was cleaning the brooder. I got an idea of what may be wrong but correct me if I'm totally wrong. I heard something about not raising turkey in the same brooder with chickens because something about the bacteria that chickens carry naturally can be fatal to turkey poults when they are young and suseptable. And I know guinea are closely related to turkey so I separated the guinea keets from the chicks to see if that was the problem... ? idk. last resort really

I never had an issue with having them with chicks. Those keets are older..... I don't usually lose them at that age..... strange. What are you feeding them? They NEED gamebird starter much higher protein and I think some other stuff they need too..... I usually feed them ALL Gamebird when I have keets. I had my separated so that was not my issue. I tried something new and may have killed them because of it and I was out of town to catch it......
